You must be at least 18 years of age and legally entitled to enter transactions involving precious metals, jewellery, watches, gemstones, and investment products. You confirm that any items you sell or submit to us are lawfully owned by you and have been acquired through legitimate means.

2. Buying and Selling Transactions

All transactions are conducted at prices determined by prevailing market conditions at the time of sale or purchase. Valuations for gold, silver, and other precious metals are aligned with live market pricing, including internationally recognised benchmark rates, which may fluctuate throughout the day.

3. Payment Methods and Settlement

Payments may be made by bank transfer, cheque, or approved secure payment methods. Where Richmond & Sterling Ltd purchases items from you, payment is issued following receipt, inspection, and verification of the goods. Once payment has been made and a transaction completed, it is deemed final and cannot be reversed.

4. Authenticity and Condition

All items sold by Richmond & Sterling Ltd are professionally inspected and assessed prior to sale. We take reasonable steps to ensure authenticity, description, and condition are accurately represented at the time of transaction.

5. Cancellations and Returns

Transactions may be cancelled prior to payment being released or dispatched. For purchases made online or remotely, any applicable cancellation or return rights will be set out at the time of purchase. Returns are subject to approval and must comply with our stated return conditions.

6. Anti-Money Laundering and Compliance

7. Delivery, Postage, and Risk

When sending items to us, customers are responsible for appropriate packaging and adequate insurance. We recommend fully insured and tracked delivery services. Richmond & Sterling Ltd cannot accept liability for items lost or damaged in transit to us. Items sold by us are dispatched using insured and tracked delivery methods.

8. Data Protection and Privacy

All personal data is handled in accordance with UK data protection legislation and GDPR. Customer information is used solely for legitimate business purposes and is not shared with third parties except where required by law or necessary to complete a transaction.

9. Limitation of Liability

Richmond & Sterling Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including market price movements, delivery delays, or reliance on information provided by the customer.

10. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

We are committed to resolving any concerns fairly and promptly. Complaints should be submitted directly to Richmond & Sterling Ltd through our official contact channels. We will make reasonable efforts to address and resolve all disputes in a timely manner.

By proceeding with any transaction or service provided by Richmond & Sterling Ltd, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
